Details Below

Invited Presentations (45 mins)

The session organizers have invited two speakers to provide comprehensive, authoritative assessments on outstanding research problems and emerging research directions in Process Systems Engineering.  Invited speakers are required to submit a 3-page paper summarizing the main points of their presentations, due 2 months before the conference. Please use the Latex template provided or, if you use Word, please follow the same format and structure. These papers will form the basis for the writing of a paper after the conference.

The deadline for submitting a 3-page paper related to the presentation is May 4, 2026.
Format Requirements are detailed in THIS zipped file.
Submission must be done through THIS URL.

Contributed Oral Presentations (10 mins)

A maximum of five contributed presentations can be included in each session. These presentations, limited to 10 minutes and 10 slides each, should also address outstanding problems in the session topic, albeit with a much narrower scope than the invited talks. Those interested in giving a short presentation must submit a 3-page paper. Please use the Latex template provided or, if you use Word, please follow the same format and structure. Also, indicate the specific session (day) for which your contribution is intended. These papers will be reviewed by the session organizers and the FIPSE Trustees to determine whether they make a substantial contribution to the session topic. Authors of accepted papers will be given the option to join the invited speakers and session organizers in the writing of the post-conference paper.

The deadline for submitting a 3-page proposal is February 2, 2026.
Notification of acceptance: March 2, 2026.

Poster Presentations (new in FIPSE-7)

Participants interested in presenting a poster should submit a 1-page abstract. The abstracts should align with the conference theme, emphasizing open research problems and directions. There is no specific format requirement for the abstracts. Authors of accepted posters may also be given the option to join the invited speakers and session organizers in the writing of the post-conference paper.

The deadline for the submission of a 1-page abstract (approximately 350 words) is March 2, 2026.
